Grilled Corn

4-6  cobs of corn, (preferably something sweet) – shucked and cleaned of silks

1 stick of salted butter

2-3 dashes of hot sauce

1/4 cup finely grated Mizithra Cheese

Pepper to taste (the cheese provides enough salt for most people)

 

Place corn on clean preheated grill over medium high heat.  Turn every few minutes, until the colour of the corn has darkened a few shades, and little spots of char start to develop.  Depending on the corn, the grill, and outside temperature, this could take up to 10-15 min.

In a glass loaf pan or pie plate, melt butter in microwave.   Add hot sauce and pepper, stir to combine.

Roll hot corn in the melted seasoned butter.  Sprinkle with the Mizithra cheese to coat.  Serve right away.
