A note about the site:
This is a labour of love, and I don’t receive compensation for any of the recommendations or sites I offer links to. The only exceptions to this may be items in the Bloggers Blog and Storeroom areas, and any links to items on Amazon. However, even then I have to believe in the item before it makes it to the site.
My suggestions and recommendations are solely based upon that which I have found helpful, and believe in. I am not an expert at anything – I am just enthusiastic about food, and anything that helps me better myself as a cook.
I wish for this to be a positive place for everyone to spend some time. While I tend to be enthusiastic in my opinions, here I will limit my expression of negative ones. The power of the internet to damage reputations and businesses is often greatly underestimated. While I may not care for an experience at an eatery, or with a product, it is just my experience based on my tastes and preferences. I will temper my negative opinions with great caution, and ask that everyone who comes into the kitchen do the same.
Always use common sense when dealing with anything you read here. If something you read here goes against what you believe to be safe or sensible, go with your feelings and drop me a line to let me know. I am always interested to hear from others here at the kitchen table, sharing and learning from one another.
